DOT accredits Bataan souvenir shop, resorts

Tourists can now expect a more enjoyable and quality-assured shopping experience as the Bataan Tourism Souvenir Shop has been recognized as the first and only Department of Tourism (DOT)-accredited tourist shop in the province.

Located inside the Bataan Tourism Center along Roman Highway in Balanga City, the shop offers “Galing! Bataan” products that showcase some of the province’s best goods such as food items, handicrafts, shirts, bags, souvenirs, and other locally made products that highlight Bataan’s culture, creativity, and community enterprises. Managed by the Provincial Tourism Office, the shop is open daily from 8AM to 5PM.

The DOT also recognized La Jolla Luxury Beach Resort in Bagac and Bayandati Resort in Morong with four-star ratings for their commitment to quality service, guest comfort, and improved tourism standards.
