Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Bataan Provincial Dir. Ei Ocampo has announced significant activities in the province for the month of October.
She said activities include the celebration of International Coffee Day, Provincial Consumer Welfare Month, and the Likha ng Central Luzon Trade Fair.
As October 1 marks the International Coffee Day celebration, Dir. Ocampo cited the potential of Tala coffee cultivated in the province revealing plan to promote the locally produced brew.
Dir. Ocampo said Provincial Consumer Welfare Month will also be observed and will culminate on October 17 with a spoken poetry competition, where high school students will present pieces themed around consumer rights, entrepreneurship, and business development. A quiz bee for high school students will likewise be held.
The Likha ng Central Luzon Trade Fair is scheduled in October 15 to 19 at SM Megamall, featuring proudly made products from the region to promote local entrepreneurs and showcase homegrown innovations. Dir. Ocampo said that these activities aim to raise consumer awareness and support the growth of local businesses.
