DTI conducts mobile business name registration

CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – In an effort to intensify the campaign for Business Name Registration, DTI-Bataan conducted a series of Mobile Business Name Registrations from April 20 to April 24 in the Municipalities of Dinalupihan, Hermosa, Orani, Morong and Orion to require new establishments to register their business names with the DTI before operation and for the existing ones whose BNR have already reached its five-year validity period, to renew their Business Name Certificates.

The activity also aimed to remind business establishments who are operating without business name registrations that they are violating the law and this has corresponding penalty and administrative sanctions.

During the said Mobile BNR, CPD associates Section Head Connie B. Sanico and BNO Nor D. Embido did the on-line processing and printing to ensure that certificates will be released right away and registrants/applicants will leave with BN certificates on hand.

For the whole duration of the campaign, 85 new and renewal applications were processed and released. DTI-Bataan will continue its Mobile Business Name Registration and BNR campaign until all business establishments operating in the province abide by Republic Act No. 3883 otherwise known as ”Business Name Law”.
