Dutch government sends flood control experts to Abucay

Through the effort of Abucay, Mayor Erik Martel, the Netherlands will send its flood control experts here to examine the site and build a system that will end flooding.

The neophyte Mayor in his social media post on Friday said he met recently with Ambassador Robert van der Hum and Senior Economic Policy Officer on Water, Aviation, and Climate Resillience Franco Neal P. Rebarter, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and discussed crucial issues and important projects like flood control system, business investments, and education.

Martel said the Netherlands is known for building the best flood control system in the world. “This is why the Dutch government will send experts to make a study and examine the flood situation in our town,” he explained in his social media post.
