Former Morong, Bataan Mayor Jorge Estanislao lauded the move of Bataan Gov. Albert Garcia and the municipal mayors for having placed the province under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) to contain the spread of highly transmissible Delta variant of Covid-19. The move was consequently approved by the national inter-agency task force (IATF).
Estanislao who is himself a medical practitioner said “Dapat lang ang ECQ, kung ako tatanungin dapat nga mag-mass-testing to isolate those who are positive especially asymptomatic carriers,” he said in a chat with this correspondent.
When informed that Morong town has the least number of newly-confirmed COVID case in Bataan, Estanilao said “This is not an assurance as long as the virus has a host to cling on.”
He advised everyone to get a CT scan with high resolution once a cough occurs to detect the body for pnuemonia for quick medication. “Kung symptomatic, automatic RT-PCR agad para hiwalay agad, at puwede mag start ng gamot at vitamins,” Estanislao said.
