Some 7,487 workers at the Freeport Area of Bataan have been vaccinated through its own vaccination program launched a month ago.
In its statement, the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), said some 3,357 workers were fully vaccinated, while 3,655 are awaiting second dose.
The freeport authorities are asking FAB workers to avail of vaccination program for Bataan to achieve herd immunity by December, this year.
FAB’s total workforce is more or less 40,000 whose work was suspended due to enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) status until August 22.
The AFAB aims to inoculate at least from 400 to 900 workers per day.
Only workers who confirmed their schedules are allowed to vaccination site called 1bataan FABakuna Center.
