“Family is Love”

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The 22nd Anniversary celebration of KABAKA centered on the theme, “Family is Love” made Congresswoman Geraldine Roman emotional that she broke down in tears while delivering her message, especially when she narrated her mother, former Congresswoman Herminia Roman’s sudden illness last December 2018 which nearly took her life.
Cong. Geraldine said she cannot imagine her life without her mother “nabigyan ako ng buhay na masasabi kong ako’y pinagpala, buhay na nabigyan ako ng pagkakataong maglingkod, buhay na nakilala ko
ang isang taong magmamahal sa akin, buhay na nakadaupang palad ko kayong lahat na mga kapatid ko sa KABAKA, kung kaya’t LORD kunin mo na
ang lahat sa akin huwag lamang ang aking ina” which she sums up, that is how important a family is in our life.
The KABAKA members which were about four thousand in attendance were treated with entertainment from BM Teri Onor, production number from the
KABAKA coordinators of Abucay and to the enjoyment of the audience, Cong. Geraldine did not only sing but danced as well to the tune of the millennials.
Also present in the celebration were former Cong. Gina de Venecia, Atty Jomar Gaza who greeted the members for their solidarity having stayed
with the organization for 22 years. In return, which was the highlight of the affair was the unli raffle of prizes from the different sponsors aside from the gifts prepared by Congresswomen Herminia and Geraldine Roman.
