In support to the Province’s effort to treat COVID-19 mild and asymptomatic cases, Dinalupihan Mayor Gila Garcia led the inauguration of Bataan’s Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility yesterday, February 3.

The 40-bed capacity facility is located beside the town’s Bulwagan ng Bayan which consists of 20 air-conditioned rooms for COVID-19 positive cases and another 20 for suspected cases. Each room has its own bed, comfort room, table, chair and blood pressure monitor. The donning and doffing area is located at the triage, for the safety of the health workers.

“Ngayon pong nagche-checklist na po yung DOH, mag- iinspect po sila at dahil coordinated naman po sakanila yung design, lahat ng laman sa loob, yung manpower, yung lahat ng concerns nila na-address natin, hopefully po makapagbigay po sila ng “go signal”, pag nabigay po nila ang go signal, mag start na po tayo.” Garcia added.

The inauguration commenced with a blessing followed by a simple program attended by local government officials of Dinalupihan, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Rosanna Buccahan, DOH Provincial Health Team Leader’s representative Dr. Noel Reyes and Dinalupihan District Hospital Chief of Hospital Dr. Gene Abara.
