BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The trainings we are providing are geared towards the Department of Agriculture’s thrust of “affordable and available foods for Filipinos”.

“The direction of our office is sustainable food production as pushed by our DA Secretary Manny Pinol”, said Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) Region 3 Center Director Veronica Concepcion V. Esguerra during her guesting in the program Radyo Balita at 91.1 Sikat FM on Wednesday.

“The trainings we are conducting in the region are attuned to this direction set by our secretary”, she added.

The ATI 3 center director also outlined their programs and services for farmers and fisherfolks.

“We want farmers to treat themselves as businessmen. They are agriculture entrepreneurs”, she said.

“We also teach financial literacy to our stakeholders”, she added.

“Those who want to avail of our programs can coordinate with their respective LGUs or even drop by in our center in Barangay San Ramon, Dinalupihan”, she also said.

“They can also message us in our Facebook account ATI Central Luzon”, she said.
