BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Governor Albert Raymond S. Garcia has highlighted the importance of public safety and security of foreign and local visitors, business locators and the residents to maintain the excellent rank of Bataan as one of the leading investment hubs in Central Luzon.
Speaking before some 240 barangay officials in eleven municipalities and this component city of Balanga recently, Governor Garcia pointed out the tactical and all-inclusive platforms of barangay sectors in promoting peace and order and providing environment-friendly communities for tourism and travel growth.
The improvement of Roman Expressway and the Mariveles-Bagac-Morong coastal road has great economic impact to the historic peninsula with a number of multi-national manufacturing firms scouting for industrial sites and leisure-type health tourism projects in the coastal sections of Bataans’ three towns facing the West Philippine Sea, Governor Garcia described the latest development in the tourism industry. He also announced the deployment of Metro Bataan Development Authority (MBDA) traffic and security mobile marshals to coastal areas to guarantee a more accessible protective mantle for the visitors, locators and residents.
Aside from the influx of guests and investors, Governor Garcia informed the barangay officials of the beneficial outcome of attaining a business friendly atmosphere which would rekindle the opening of micro, small and medium entrepreneurs to expand their markets of local products like food delicacies, souvenir items and establishment of medium-size hotels and accommodations and other recreational facilities and other services.
