Gov. Abet Garcia, CSC Presidential Lingkod Bayani awardee

BALANGA CITY, Bataan- The Civil Service Commission (CSC) Field Office  here in partnership with the Council of Personnel Officers (CPO) Bataan chapter have jointly recognized the extraordinary and meaningful performances of different government agencies to the public.

Edgardo C. Cruz, Cirector II of the CSC field office in Bataan, awarded last Friday, September 23, plaques of recognition  to five provincial offices  and Bataan Governor Albert Raymond S. Garcia  during the 2nd Bataan Circle of Heroes  2016 ,Lingkod Bayani ng Bataan anniversary held at Louis Restaurant  this city.

 

Cruz said the six awards  were given  to two (2) agencies for Best Human Resource Practices, three (3) for Civil Service Commission (CSC) Pag-asa awards  and Presidential Lingkod Bayani award for the provincial governor.

 

He stressed that the Honor Awards Program (HAP) of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) is embodied in the constitutional mandate of adopting measures to promote morale, efficiency, integrity, responsiveness and courtesy in the public service.

 

The awardees were Management Information Service /Public Information Office  and Human Resource Management Office  for human resource practices ;Bataan General Hospital, Orani Municipal Agricultural Office and Orani Water District for CSC Pag-asa Award  and Presidential Lingkod –Bayan award  to Governor Garcia .

 

Cruz cited Governor Garcia for his unwavering efforts to stir economic growth and provide a better quality of life for all Bataeños which under his leadership the two industrial towns of Mariveles (5th) and Limay (3rd) made it to top 10 among the best municipalities in the country for efficiently collecting Locally Sourced Income (LSI)in 2014;

 

Under his watch, Bataan also topped the estimated available Special Education Fund (SEF) revenue  per public school student among the 80 provinces with SEF Collection of P 420,399,546 for 2013.

 

The CSC field director added that Bataan topped the National Competitiveness Council (NCC) ranking in Region 3 in the formulation of programs to improve competitiveness as well as to engage investment promotion activities to attract investors and create new jobs.
