GSP-Bataan Council treats special children

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Girl Scouts of the Phils-Bataan Council, led by Ms. Estrella dela Rosa as president held a party among special children (deaf, mute, blind, others), which has been one of their special projects. Sponsored by Jollibee Balanga, the event was themed, “Karapatan at Pribilehiyo ng may Kapansanan, Isakatuparan at Ipaglaban.”

The 108 special children from different towns of the province were welcomed by council officer, Ms. Nory Canare, who said that they always look forward to this special day of fun and enjoyment with the children every year.

Ms. Divine Agustin, GSP Council Secretariat said that they’ve been doing this project for 10 years now and they are thankful that this time, Jollibee Balanga sponsored the project.

The special children were treated with the famous Jollibee chickenjoy and spaghetti, parlor games and fun galore with Jollibee mascots. In turn, the children displayed their dancing and singing talents with the help of their teacher-coordinators.

Indeed, it was a memorable day for the special children of Limay Central Elem School, Bataan National HS, Balanga Elem School, Dinalupihan Elem School, Bagac, Pilar, Hermosa, Morong and Mariveles Poblacion HS.
