Installation of CCTV’s at AFAB provides better business atmosphere

MARIVELES, Bataan – The Authority of Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) and Metro Bataan Development Authority (MBDA) have forged an agreement of strengthening security procedures and to guarantee public safety in the country’s first export processing zone.

Engineer Emmanuel Pineda, chairman and administrator of AFAB, has disclosed the confidential arrangement of installing closed circuit camera television system (CCTV’s) in strategic locations of the ecozone during the AFAB Kapihan with Media held on Tuesday at the administration building here.

He explained the arrangement with Charlie Pizarro, chairman and general manager of MBDA, covers the systematic method of protecting the transport of raw materials to factories and top-quality export products shipment intended for international markets, providing effective and scientific technique of classifying and identification of any untoward incidents inside the AFAB complex.

The CCTV’s devices are commonly used in multi- purpose roles like maintaining perimeter security, monitoring traffic, obtaining a visual record of human activity and other valuable information.

Engineer Pineda said this project has earned the respect and support of multi-national locators, tourists, workers and residents for implementing the innovative traffic monitoring management system in the community.

Cargo hauling firms, public transport operators, college students and  faculty members of the government-run university , small and medium entrepreneurs ,commercial banks officers  and other  institutions inside AFAB  have described  the timely installation of CCTVs’ make the industrial town of Bataan peninsula  as conducive site for business-friendly  atmosphere .
