HERMOSA, Bataan – A Japanese firm and a branch of a famous fast food chain are set to invest in this first-class town, municipal mayor Jopet Inton said in a news briefing yesterday.
Recently, Inton met with executives in a company that is engaged in the raw materials supply and manufacturing of tin cans. The meeting took place inside the Hermosa Ecozone Industrial Park.
Meanwhile, Inton added that a branch of Jollibee restaurant owned by the De Guzman Group of Companies will be opening soon in Barangay Palihan just across the new Hermosa Public Market.
“Aside from Jollibee, dormitories for (Hermosa) Ecozone employees will be built within its vicinity,” Inton told this reporter.
At the Hermosa-Dinalupihan exit of the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), just beside the Laus Auto Group’s Nissan Bataan, a branch of NorthWalk mall is now under construction. A BPO is also set to be the major locator of the said mall along with popular names in the restaurant and coffee industries.
At present, Inton added, the Hermosa stretch of the Roman Expressway is being constructed with streetlight posts and will soon be tagged as “the brightest town at night in the 1st district of Bataan.”
