JEAGMHS rules at 1st SHS history quiz

BATAAN TOURISM CENTER – A Grade 11 STEM student from Justice Emilio Angeles Gancayco Memorial High School (JEAGMHS) in Orion, Rheine Lee A. Bagtas, dominated the very first Senior High School level of “Tagisan Diwang Bataan Paligsahang Pangkasaysayan” history quiz held at the Bataan Tourism Center yesterday afternoon.

With the efforts of his coach Aileen M. Torres, Bagtas outsmarted 29 other contenders coming from different schools in the province. He snatched 33 correct answers out of 35 questions- a pinch near from the runner-up’s 32 points.

The questions are mainly composed of Bataaan’s demography and its people, which had become Bagtas’ advantage.

Meanwhile, HUMSS 11 student Leslee Ellano from Morong National High School took the second spot, while HUMSS 12 student Joey G. Lintag from JEAGMHS was the third placer.

All the participants received consolation prizes, certificates. The top three winners will be recognized on April 9 at Plaza Mayor de Balanga.
