Mayor Francis works on his birthday

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Mayor Francis Garcia celebrated his birthday last October 5, Friday, productively. He started the day with a Tree Planting Activity in Barangay Dangcol together with the employees of the City Government, National Government Agencies (NGAs), Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) with the theme: “Puno ng Buhay, Alay sa Kalikasan.”
This tree-planting activity is in support to the “1 Million Trees for 1 Bataan” (1M41B) project of the Provincial Government of Bataan.
Mayor Francis also led the ribbon-cutting and blessing of the new covered court of Barangay Cabog-Cabog where the City Government officials and employees organized a surprise birthday celebration during the event.
Representatives of national government agencies (NGAs) greeted Mayor Francis and pledged their commitment to help the City and the Provincial Governments in their projects. Some of them prepared dance numbers and short skits.
The Muti-Sectoral Government Coalition (MSGC) – Balanga City announced that they are donating fifteen (15) units of computers to the City Government of Balanga for the Barangay Learning Hubs.
In her message for her youngest son, Mrs. Vicky Garcia advised the good mayor to continue serving the people and be happy with what he is doing, adding that she always prays to the Lord to guide his sons.
In his response, Mayor Francis thanked all the officials and employees of the City Government , the NGAs and NGOs, for their efforts to help the city achieve its goals and for making his birthday celebration memorable.
Lastly, Mayor Francis emphasized that “cooperation” is the key to the success of Balanga City.
