Metro-Pharma donates medicines to Orani

ORANI, Bataan – Metro-Pharma Philippines, a leading pharmaceutical company in the country recently donated seven (7) boxes of multi-vitamins, cholesterol lowering and hypertensive medicines to the local government of Orani thru its product manager, Mr. Roland Tria.

The boxes of medicines were received by Mayor Bondjong Pascual, Vice Mayor Galicia and Board Member Rey Ibe, who thanked the staff of Metro-Pharma Phil. for the donations and added that these medicines will be a big help to the residents of Orani.

Mr. Roland Tria, who is a native of Orani said that he believes in the leadership of the town executive and other officials, that thru this simple way of donating medicines, he is able to help his kababayans.

The medicines were later on turned over to the municipal health officer, Dr. Rochelle Silloriquez, who said that the multi-vitamins as well as the cholesterol lowering and hypertensive medicines will be immediately distributed to their indigenous patients whom she said, they already have a list in the center, while for walk-in patients, they can also avail of these, after they have been checked-up added Dr. Silloriquez.

Vice Mayor Bong Galicia, who is a doctor by profession, said that the medicines and vitamins are of quality brand and are expensive if bought from private pharmacies hence, he said that these will somehow ease the expenses of their indigent constituents.
