New hotel to rise in Bagac

BAGAC, Bataan – First it was the P1 billion La Jolla Resort of contractor Ronnie del Rosario; then comes another mountain resort Woodland Hills Manor of businessman Ronald del Rosario; next the Rancho Bernardo owned by former mayor Ramil del Rosario; and lately, comes the Namin Resort Hotel which is undergoing construction and is being supervised by Ramil himself.
All of those mountain resorts will have American and European tourists as well as wealthy retirees whose passion to enjoy life by being close to mother nature.
Nick S. Ancheta, municipal administrator of Bagac, said the Namin Hotel is much bigger than the three other resort hotels because of more sophisticated and modern facilities similar to places found in the United States and Europe.
Facilities such as estate admin office, community services facility, guests’ and drivers’ dormitory, cafeteria, visitors’ center, warehouse, hangar, and loading zone are just among those undergoing construction in Zone 1. Four other zones with more amenities are still in the drawing table, said Ancheta.
This latest tourism-oriented project is worth billions of pesos initiated by a group of businessmen from Metro Manila. The groups deals mostly with hotel, resort, and facilities for retiring citizens, said Ancheta.
Because of the magnanimity of the project, Ancheta said, construction of other amenities may extent to the neighboring Barangay Binuangan and Barangay Quinawan.
Anchetaa said it may not be too far off when Bagac town will become an important tourism hub in Central Luzon.
