CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – NFA-Bataan’s very own Accountant II, Ms. Ruth Rachel V. Lacson earned her license as a Values Restoration Officer (VRO) after completing her training/workshop for Values Restoration Program (VRP) in La Trinidad, Benguet last May 17-20, 2016, along with personnel from the Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Environment & Natural Resources (DENR), and Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR).
The VRP is a public-private partnership between the Civil Service Commission (CSC) and the Council for the Restoration of Filipino Values (CRFV), which aims to establish a graft-free and value-laden society.
As a licensed VRO, Ms. Ruth Lacson can now undertake the implementation of VRP. Thus, on May 27, 2016, NFA-Bataan Provincial Manager Adelaida C. Nuestro invited all NFA-Bataan employees to attend a seminar on Filipino Values to get a glimpse of the learnings acquired by Ms. Ruth. She discussed the ills and moral degradations of our country and what each citizen, especially government employees can do to alleviate these illnesses and move on as a country, free from graft and corruption.
At the end of the seminar, employees swore not to “bribe, steal, cheat, lie or kill nor tolerate anyone who does”.
