NGCP Bataan Energy Press Corps officers to take oath

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) is finalizing the schedule of the oath-taking of NGCP Bataan Energy Press Corps officers.

“We will try the oath-taking in August in a hotel in Balanga”,  NGCP Regional Corporate Communication Officer for Bataan and Zambales Fely Francisco recently told PIA Bataan Manager JM Garcia.

Officers of the press corps are President,  Mhike Cigaral (DZXL and CLTV 36); Vice President for Broadcast,  Roel Tarayao (TV 5); Vice President for Print,  Zeny Soriano (Bataan Primestar); Secretary, Josie Martinez (Net 25); and Advisers, Jun Bringula (DWIZ), Lulu Levera (Bataan Chronicle), and Garcia. NGCP is establishing press corps in provinces in the country.

Francisco said the press corps will be utilized in disseminating accurate, impartial, and comprehensible information about NGCP, and the power industry.

She said the creation of the group will also ensure proactive resolution of emerging issues before making public announcements.

She added the press corps can also conduct a partnership program that will benefit the community such as but not limited to NGCP host communities in the provinces.
