BALANGA CITY, Bataan – A former member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) ng Bataan is expecting a bourgeoning investment portfolio and robust travel tourism industry with the operation of the two-ferry boats in the industrial town of Mariveles and agricultural municipality of Orion.

Gaudencio Ferrer, vice president of 1Bataan Integrated Services which tied-up with the Camaya Coast Resort for the ferry boat project said the deployment of the two efficient marine transport system plying Mariveles and Orion towns to the Mall of Asia in Pasay City is a well-founded scheme which provides travelers and locators an alternative way to avoid the heavily congested traffic route to Metro Manila.

Ferrer, a consultant of Bataan Governor Albert Raymond S. Garcia, explained that a number of foreign and local investors are eyeing the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) due to its conducive sites of industrial and manufacturing plants for high-end fashion and world-class quality brand of bags, garments and apparels, shoes and others.

Likewise, the country’s first export processing zone which is greatly chosen as one of the fast growing ecozones is now moving toward the direction of attracting Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), logistics and post related operations with 128 registered enterprises as of end of 2017 from the initial 33 in year 2010.

With this development, the establishment of well-organized sea transport is totally acclaimed as an unwavering magnetic ingredient of doing business in competitive levels, Ferrer added.
