LIMAY, Bataan – Dedicated and consistent in their commitment to help the public school system in Bataan annually, Orica Philippines. Inc. has once again extended their helping hand to support Kitang Elementary School and Arsenal Elementary School both located in this town, by providing window grills to 7 classrooms in Kitang and 6 classrooms in Arsenal.

A simple turnover ceremony was held last July 13 and 14, 2017 attended by school staff, GPTA officers and pupils of both schools. Mr. Philip De Jesus, QSHE Lead-Limay Plant delivered an inspirational message, which imparted to the students the thought of “giving back your blessings to others”. He said that he himself has been a product of the public school system and now, he is part of the company Orica, who aims to help public schools in Limay, Bataan. In another inspirational message delivered by Ms. Nathalie Bain, Global community manager of Orica, the pupils were told to be proud of their schools, it’s staff and it’s administration for she knows that the pupils are being well taken care of.

The program ended after the project was formally turned over to the principals of both schools, Mrs Charito Lyn H. Lumibao and Mr Alberto Lorenzo of AES. Both schools are very grateful for the donations as these will enhance the security of the school assets. It will lessen their worries, and they are now hopeful that what they invest today on their schools will be used by more students in the coming years.
