ORANI, Bataan – The Orani Water District which is now in a joint venture with Primewater Infrastructure Corp. is reviving the previous plan of putting up septage treatment plant in this first class municipality known for shrimps, crabs and other export quality sea foods.
Enrico Santos, OWD general manager, said the water firm is still mulling the idea about the septage treatment plant as had been planned by the previous administration.
He said the project would entail huge amount. “We still have no idea as to the amount of the project,” Santos said.
The septage treatment tank project was first brought up by former OWD general manager Bennie Andres who discussed it with the local government but did not prosper seemingly for lack financial capability.
With the joint venture with Primewater, OWD now mere monitors the operation of the former. The OWD operates and relies only on the share of income derived from the Primewater.
