Patience is indeed a virtue

This man with a happy disposition resides at Brgy. Bagong Silang, Balanga City, Bataan. He and his wife Emma are blessed with four children namely Fernando III, Vienna Ma. Aurora, Theodore, and Dominic.

A product of Don Bosco Academy in Pampanga and Tomas Del Rosario Academy in Balanga, he took BSBA major in Management in San Beda College for two years, and graduated with the same course at the Bataan Community College.

BM Austria entered the world of politics in 1993 as a barangay captain which lasted until 2007. His wife became the barangay captain after his term. In 2002, he became the president of the Association of Barangay Captains (ABC) in Balanga. In 2007, he became the provincial president of the Federated Association of Barangay Captains (FABC).

Currently, he chairs the committees on Barangay Affairs and Community Development at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.

BM Austria said that he doesn’t have much on his plate right now besides being a hardworking public servat and a responsible father to his family. He said that when opportunity comes, he grabs it. He believes in patience ”Minsan, pag pinaplano, hindi nangyayari, pero ‘pag hinihintay, dumadating,” he added.

BM Austria is really someone who lives in the “now”, a leader who uses his time wisely as of the moment to work for the attainment of his goals.
