PGB- reaches 500K safe man-hour

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC) of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) recognized the Provincial Engineer’s Office (PEO) of Bataan for its remarkable 500,000 Safe Man-hour in line with the construction of ‘The Bunker Project’.

With its mission to construct good quality infrastructure projects that can withstand time with less hindrances/problems, the PEO under Engr. Enrico Yuzon embarked on a culture of safety and awareness among its workers through achieving long safe man-hour, which is a unit of production completed without lost-time injury or accident.

During the traditional flag ceremony held at Bataan Capitol Grounds this morning, Engr. Warren Bernabe presented the certificate of recognition regarding the said achievement, signed by OSHC Executive Director Engr. Noel C. Binag.

Man-hour is determined by getting the product of number of working hours, working days, and the number of employees.
