BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Bataan empowered students on the importance of creativity and healthy lifestyle through its second Pulong Tulong.
About 70 nursing and tourism students of the Asia Pacific College of Advanced Studies (APCAS) participated in the forum held Wednesday at the college library.
Sining at Kultura ng Lahing Bataan President Art Villanueva discussed the programs and activities on culture and arts promotions in the province.
Meanwhile, former Balanga City Multi-Sectoral Governance Coalition President Ariel Ilaya gave valuable tips and pieces of advice on cardiovascular health.
SPO2 Mhay Rubio, recipient of 2016 Country’s Outstanding Police Officers in Service award, was also present during the activity who discussed the anti-illegal drug drive and other programs of Philippine National Police.
APCAS Academic Affairs Dean Gigi Sunga expressed her gratitude to the PIA for the conduct of the forum as well as to the guest speakers for sharing their valuable knowledge on the theme.
“I would like to thank PIA for choosing APCAS and I encourage all our students to share their learnings back to their families and community,” she said.
The college-based thematic forum is divided into two parts: Pulong focuses on discussion of the chosen theme; and Tulong addresses issues raised by students and faculty members.
