PSA Bataan holds ASPBI Respondents’ Forum

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Bataan Provincial Statistical Office held the 2015 Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industry and 2015 Survey on Information and Communication Technology Respondents’ Forum at Crown Royale Hotel last April 20, 2016.

Provincial Statistics Officer Ledesma L. Morante welcomed all the participants and gave an overview of the forum. PSA staff, Francisco P. Corpuz, Maria Rosario C. Dela Rosa and Richard T. Guevara served as speakers of the forum, which was highlighted by Data Appreciation of the result of the 2013 Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industry and 2013 Survey on Information and Communication Technology. At the end of the presentations, Allan G. Bruno moderated an open forum wherein the respondents asked their concerns about the survey.

The forum was attended by bookkeepers, accountants and managers of various establishments in the province. PSA Regional Director Edgardo G. Pare delivered an inspirational message to the participants. He emphasized some points in the discussion which will encourage the respondents to answer the survey accurately and promptly.

The 2015 ASPBI is a nationwide undertaking confined to the formal sector of the economy and as such excludes the informal sector. The 2015 SICT aims to collect and generate information on the availability, distribution and access/utilization of ICT among industries in the country

The distribution for 2015 ASPBI and 2015 SICT started on April 13, 2016. PSA staff shall simultaneously distribute and collect the survey questionnaire until July 15, 2016 nationwide.
