BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Mar Roxas met this morning with project beneficiaries and civil society partners around Bataan province.
Roxas inspected the SALINTUBIG project site and visited an Aeta community, together with local government officials led by Gov. Abet Garcia and community beneficiaries at Brgy. Payangan, Dinalupihan. He also visited the flood control project funded through the Performance Challenge Fund at Brgy. Central, Balanga City.
Roxas also unveiled the Bottoms Up Budgeting Projects marker in Morong town, and had a dialogue with KABAKA women leaders and town citizens at the Morong Municipal Hall. He also visited the Flood Control Project funded through PCF at Brgy. Central, Balanga City.
“Walang maiiwan sa tuwid na daan.” This was the message of Sec. Roxas to the Bataenos in a phone patch interview at a local radio station in Balanga City. He said Bataan is now known for its progress and good governance.
Roxas added that his visit today in the coastal province is focused on listening to the people and knowing what their communities need.
