Rubia, Sunga urge folks to support Mariveles programs

MARIVELES, Bataan – Mariveles Vice Mayor Lito Rubia and Councilor Angel Sunga urged residents to support various programs initiated by the    local government here through the leadership of Mayor AJ Concepcion.

“Support all our programs here in Mariveles”, the vice mayor appealed to local chess players and folks in his message during the recent Mariveles 73^rd Liberation Day Chess Tournament  held at Heroes Hall, Barangay Poblacion.

“Through the leadership of Mayor Concepcion, we have initiated many programs towards the progress of our town and provide genuine public service to all residents”, he also said.

“Mayor Concepcion and the Sangguniang Bayan, which I lead, are committed to serve Mariveles folks”, he assured.

For his part, Councilor Angel Sunga said, “We have passed anti-smoking and anti-littering ordinances, please follow these ordinances”.

“Follow all our ordinances for the peace and orderliness of our town”, he added.

 The two officials vowed to continue backing chess development in Mariveles.

 “With our mayor, we will continue supporting chess development at the grassroots level”, vowed the vice mayor.

“It is better for our youths to be engaged in sports instead of vices like illegal drugs”, the councilor said who is the Chairman of the SB Committee on Sports.
