BALANGA CITY, Bataan -Senator Cynthia Villar urged this morning new-graduates of Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) to give priority to education saying this will definitely uplift their economic condition.
Sen. Villar who emerged number one in Bataan during the last mid-term election was the key note speaker during the BPSU graduation ceremonies at the Bataan Peoples Center.
She cited as an example her family who propelled to economic success by keeping the tradition of “sipag at tiyaga.” (hard work and perseverance). “Nag umpisa lang kami ng asawa kong si former senator Manny Villar sa maliit na negosyong gravel and sand at ito ay napalago namin sa sipag at tiyaga,” Villar said.
