SIDHAY Coop hold 30th founding anniversary

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Officers and members of SIDHAY Multi-Purpose Cooperative recently celebrated their 30th founding anniversary in simple yet meaningful activities at their new building which will soon operate as a new branch office.

In her short message, General Membership Assembly Manager Carmen Silvestre gave emphasis on the fact that SIDHAY Cooperative has now an asset of P47M from P40M, as membership increased from 700 to 730.

According to Ms. Silvestre, their new building along Roman Expressway which is supposed to be just a satellite office will be re-applied as a full branch office to address the growing number of the members as well as serve their emerging needs.

Furthermore, Silvestre said that in addition to their plan of having a minimart, a bakery and a cafeteria at the new building, they will also put additional features like a gym fitness center and a water refilling station, of which the body unanimously approved in a resolution.

Majority of the members overwhelmingly expressed their satisfaction on how their cooperative is presently being managed especially on the continuous seminars and learning series that they are giving to the members in maximizing the management of their resources.

A mass was held to highlight their affair and a raffle draw that stirred the excitement of the members. Winners include, for the 1st prize, a Samsung LED TV, won by Mayeth Garcia; 2nd prize, a foxter bike, won by Elvira Quinones and 3rd prize, a washing machine, went to Mr. Juanito Barnache while five (5) P1,000 cash each were won by Leticia Orpiano, Carmencita Roque, Myra Swin, Patricia Andrade and Rizalina Cuenco.
