BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Social Security System (SSS) Mariveles Branch is recipient of the highest rating (5 stars) Civil Service Commission (CSC) Seal of Excellence Award.
“While we take pride in receiving the award, we are at the same time humbled by the fact that we are confronted with another challenge, to live up the expectation of the seal,” said SSS Mariveles Branch Head, Jordan Herrera during his guesting in the local radio station 91.1 Sikat FM.
“The first 50 government agencies and frontline e-services in Central Luzon were picked by the CSC as excellent. Then 14 were chosen from that 50 with highest excellent ratings, and SSS Mariveles emerged overall highest with 5 stars rating”, he said.
“We will strive to maintain or even improve the quality services we are offering to our clients. I maybe the branch head but what we achieved was because of teamwork, everyone in the SSS Mariveles contributed”, Herrera added. He said they received a cash prize of P100,000 and a glass seal.
It was the first time for SSS Mariveles to receive the 5-star award under Herrera’s leadership who became branch head two years ago.
The CSC Seal of Excellence Award aims to recognize government officials and employees who have displayed outstanding work performances.
Rex Ramiterre, SSS Mariveles Section Head Accounts Management Section, joined Herrera in the guesting at 91.1 Sikat FM.
