No less than Governor Albert Garcia welcomed the group that arrived November 5 at the Bataan Tourism Office.

Mrs. Vicky Garcia, the governor’s mother, is chair of the Bataan Tourism Council Foundation, Inc.

“Thank you for coming. Please spread the word of what makes you and  the school choose the province as one of your yearly tour destinations,” the young governor said.

The tour was the sixth year that students from the prestigious school have so far made in Bataan.

They visited the mothballed Bataan Nuclear Power Plant and the Pawikan Conservation Center in Morong town and  Limutan Falls in Bagac. They spent some time with youngsters and elderlies at the Bahay Puso, a Catholic-run institution for orphaned children and the aged in Balanga City.

They saw and felt personally how natives live at the Aeta community in Morong, passing through a hanging bridge while feeling the fresh mountain breeze.

The group relished playing friendly games of basketball and soccer with cadets of the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific in Alas-Asin, Mariveles.

“We enjoyed our stay and we look forward to our next tour,” students said.
