The princess is now a queen!

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Search for Miss Bataan 2016 ended with so much flash and glitter last night at the Bataan People’s Center, this City, as Princess Ericka Tecson from the municipality of Pilar bagged the crown.

It was also a star studded night with no less than heart throb Richard Gutierrez as one of the emcees; PBA stars Mark Pingris and James Yap and international fashion designer Ito Curata joining the board of judges.

The Search for Miss Bataan aims to develop young, beautiful and talented ladies who will be respectable endorsers and effectives hosts of the province, as they represent the province in future regional and or national beauty pageants. As such, they will be given the opportunity to undergo trainings on personality development, social graces and ethics.

Spearheaded by the Provincial Government of Bataan through the Provincial Tourism Office led by Arch. Techie Banzon, in cooperation with the Bataan Peninsula Tourism Council Foundation Inc. chaired by Mrs. Vicky Garcia, the Search for Miss Bataan has been a much awaited event since its launching on September 30, 2007 and every two years thereafter.

Joining Ms Tecson are Charlene Versoza of Mariveles,1^st runner-up; Gean Ariane Ponce of Dinalupihan, 2^nd runner-up; Czarina Tolentino of Bagac, 3^rd runner-up; and Rojin Grace DeSilva of Samal, 4^th runner-up.
