Tunog Udyong, Pride of Bataan

CITY OF BALANGA, Bataan – Tunog Udyong, a group of elementary students from Orion Elementary School serenade the employees of Provincial Government of Bataan after the flag raising ceremony held at the Bataan People’s Center, Monday.
Tunog Udyong is representing Region III in the National Music Competition for Young Artists, National Level, sponsored by Cultural Center of the Philippines on November 22, 2018 at the CCP. The 39 members are grades 4, 5, and 6 students trained by Mr. Ernesto Enriquez and Orion Elementary School Principal Jigi De Villa but only 20 members will be competing for it is the requirement. “It was really my intention to form this group for I am into music and it is my passion,” said Principal De Villa.
Principal De Villa thanked the Provincial Government of Bataan for letting them perform at the Bataan People’s Center prior to the competition. She also acknowledged the efforts of Ms. Vivian Roxas, the adviser and most importantly, the support and cooperation of the parents who served as Tunog Udyong’s sponsor since day 1. She is hopeful to bring home the award among the 10 participants from all over the Philippines.
