CAPITOL COMPOUND – Right after this morning’s flag raising ceremony led by the Provincial Employment Service Office (PESO) under the able leadership of Mr. Melchor Cui who reported on his office’s strategic initiatives and accomplishments and the turnover of a brand new vehicle by the Provincial Government of Bataan to the PNP Crime Lab to be utilized by the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO), Bataan’s newly proclaimed Vice Governor took her oath of office.
Also present to witness the oath taking of Ms. Cristina M. Garcia as Vice Governor of the province were the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and her family members.
In her short message, Vice Governor Garcia expressed her gratitude to a lot of people who supported her and vowed to continue what the late Vice Gov. Tet started.
Before administering the oath, Governor Albert S. Garcia thanked Board Member Jovy Banzon for filling in the vacuum while deliberations were being held at the COMELEC and ably leading the Sangguniang Panlalawigan as Vice Governor in an acting capacity. He also thanked Ms. Cris Garcia for accepting the challenge and the gargantuan task of public service.
