“We need a big deal of patience. Patience is one of natural traits of Filipinos,” thus said Balanga Diocese Bishop Ruperto Santos who also asked everyone not to be complacent but observe proper health protocols.
In the face of possible delay of arrival to the country of Pfizer and Sinovac vaccines, Bishop Santos urged on Friday Filipinos to be patient, persevering “and continue to practice preventive measures and precautionary steps to avoid being contaminated.”
“Let us wait for vaccines patiently and pray always that vaccine will come and much more will be effective for us all,” Santos said in a statement.
The Bishop added: “Right now, as we look forward for vaccines, let us always keep ourselves safe and strong. Turn to God and trust Him.”
