Ang pinakamahalagang sangay ng gobyernno ay ang barangay. . . . ang kalakasan ng isang barangay ay ang mamamayan, 2nd District Representative Congressman Joet Garcia emphasized these concepts in his inspiring message during the , O48th Founding Anniversary of Barangay Villa Angeles Orion held at Capunitan Elementary School last February 28. Coinciding with the celebration was the soft launching of the Congressional Barangay Day v.2.0 program in the 2nd District of Bataan. Said program aims to cascade congressional programs to the barangay level that will benefit members of the communities, to address the needs and issues within the community.
In closing, Congressman Joet Garcia took the opportunity to interact with the people through a dialogue which highlighted the importance of having a Master Development Plan to determine the long term needs of the community and address it to the House of Representatives. Congressman Garcia also emphasized that through the master development plan, the community will have a voice in Congress.
