Aid for Glenda victims set for Samal and Mariveles towns

   BALANGA CITY, Bataan — Two local chief executives in this Province confirmed to local newsmen here that they are scheduled to give financial assistance to typhoon Glenda victims particularly those who lost their houses.

   Last Thursday, Mariveles town Mayor Jesse Concepcion told local newsmen here that they are planning to give P3,000 to P5,000 pesos per family whose houses were totally damaged.

Morong Mayor wants DOLE to act on resort employees’ wages

   MORONG, Bataan –  The Sangguniang Bayan (SB) of Morong, a 4th class municipality of this Province is investigating reports that beach resort owners here are not complying with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) minimum wage law for their workers. Based on municipal government records, there are more than a hundred resorts in this town but only 47 are registered.
