Balanga City all set for Ibong Dayo festival

BALANGA City- This component city of Bataan is all set for its 4th Ibong Dayo Festival on Friday with the theme “Ibong Dayo . . . Tagumpay ng Turismo”.

Bataan capitol employees hold Sports Fest

BALANGA City – Employees of the provincial Capitol on Wednesday started their three-day Intercolor Sports Fest to promote sportsmanship and camaraderie among government workers.

Sports activities to be held are basketball, free throw competition for female, dart and badminton, among some others; all to be held at the Capitol compound in Balanga City.

Pawikan-inspired Christmas tree nakagayak ng ilawan

BALANGA City – Handa ng  pailawan ang maganda at makabuluhang Christmas tree na napapalamutian ng mga replica ng pawikan hatchlings. 

Kahit hindi pa sinisindihan ang mga ilaw ay kaakit-akit na ang Christmas tree na matatagpuan sa receiving room ng Bataan Tourism Center sa Balanga City.

“Gawa ito mula sa mga recycled materials. Basura na naging magandang Christmas tree dahil sa effort ng tourism office,” sabi ni  Cora Banzon.

GN Power Plant to give 10,000 bags of cement monthly to Bataan

BALANGA City – GN Power Plant in Mariveles, Bataan that uses coal for its fuel delivered over the weekend  1,000 bags of cement as part of its commitment to support infrastructure projects of the provincial government.

Bobit Racelis, community relations officer of GN Power, said it was a ceremonial delivery that later on when the power plant is in full operation will be increased to 10,000 bags monthly.
