Bataan Cops Undergo Random Drug Test As Part Of The PNP Internal Cleansing

Intensive internal cleansing and the aggressive campaign against illegal drugs as top priority agenda of the Philippine National Police, PCOL VILLAMOR Q TULIAO, Provincial Director of Bataan Police Provincial Office ordered some 148 police personnel assigned under the Drug Enforcement Unit and Intelligence Operatives to undergo random drug testing last January 15 in Camp Cirilo S. Tolentino facilitated by personnel of Bataan Provincial Crime Laboratory Office under the direct supervision of PLTCOL EDMAR A DELA TORRE, Chief PCLO. The result of the random drug test will be released tomorrow, and in case a policeman turns-out to be positive an investigation will follow as part of due process prior to dismissal.

PCOL TULIAO said, that in view of the conduct of several anti-illegal drug operations lately, and in order to ensure the credibility of our men, this activity was held to maintain the trust and confidence of the citizens to our law enforcement officers.
