In response to the increasing number of Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) and Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs) entering Bataan, the Provincial Government established a centralized Provincial Processing facility where LSIs and ROFs will undergo strict processing and assessment until the results of their COVID-19 tests come out.
Last July 6, the Provincial Health Office started training front liners who will man said facility following the protocols rolled out by Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center for everyone’s safety.
If the result is positive, said OFW/LSI will be sent to a Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility designated for asymptomatic patients. If negative, they will be sent home to undergo a strict 14-day home quarantine.
Abet added.
