Bataan partners with IDAC to drive global digital innovation

The Provincial Government of Bataan has officially signed recently a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the International Digital Asset Committee (IDAC), led by Chairperson Won Eun Sok. The partnership aims to strengthen collaboration in promoting and developing digital asset services globally, positioning Bataan as a hub for innovation and technology-driven initiatives.

Under the agreement, both parties will implement the Bataan Public-Private Partnership (PPP), share private, public, academic, and industrial networks, and launch joint projects to establish a sustainable digital asset-based business ecosystem. The collaboration is designed to support entrepreneurs, investors, and institutions in exploring new opportunities in blockchain and digital finance.

The MOU also highlights plans for global environmental, social, and governance (ESG) activities and social contribution programs based on the Bataan PPP framework. By combining local resources with international expertise, the province aims to create scalable solutions that benefit communities while attracting global investors and stakeholders in the digital economy.

Bataan 2nd District Representative Abet Garcia, who witnessed the signing, said the partnership underscores the province’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and international cooperation. “This MOU opens doors for Bataan to lead in digital asset development, creating opportunities for local businesses and the next generation of tech innovators,” Rep. Garcia said.
