BIR Bataan kicked off its tax collection campaign in the province on Friday. Two motorcades were held in the morning and later a tax campaign program was conducted at the BIR Bataan office at Galeria Victoria, Balanga City.
BIR Bataan headed by Revenue District Officer Merlyn Vicente reminded taxpayers that the deadline for the annual filing of income tax returns is on April 17. Their target collection for 2023 is 20 percent higher than that of last year. So far through the able leadership of RDO Merlyn Vicente, they have been achieving their target collections for the past years. Discussed in the tax campaign program attended by businessmen and bookkeepers were newly introduced digitalized methods, online registration, open cases, and amnesty on estate taxes, among others.
