For his research on “Residual Stress/Strain Analysis in REBCO Coated Conductor Tapes”, Dr. John Ryan Dizon, was conferred Outstanding World Researcher 2014 and World Citation Award at the International Conference on Multi-Disciplinary Research (ICMR) 2014 held at the Renaissance Harbourview Hotel, Hong Kong last October 17-18. Dizon also bagged the Best Oral Presentation Award.
Dr. Hermogenes Paguia earned the 2014 Outstanding World Researcher Award for his paper “S & T Community Based Farm in Mango Production in Bataan, Philippines” in the 2nd Global Conference in Education, Business, Engineering and Sciences (GCEBES) 2014 simultaneously held in the same venue. He likewise got the Best Oral Presentation Award.
Neil D. David presented his research “An Ethnographic Study of the Magbukon Literary Arts Among the Aetas of Bataan” at the GCEBES 2014. He received the Outstanding Research Leader of the Philippines Award and International Association of Multi-Disciplinary Research (IAMURE) World Publication Award 2014. He also got the Best Powerpoint Presentation and Best Dressed awards for his presentation.
Dr. Sylvia B. Pangilinan got the Best Powerpoint Presentation and Best Dressed awards for her paper “Looking Through the Hearts of Elderly Filipinos: A Cultural Lived Experience” at the ICMR 2014.
Engr. Jonathan E. Lacayanga and Rina Paguia also presented their papers “Commercialization of Vertical Fed Biomass Cookstove” and “Yield Performance of Volvariella Volvacea as Affected by Planting Spawns Derived Pure Culture of Indigenous Growing Media”, respectively, at the said conference.
Dizon said Dr. Rommel P. Sergio, a Filipino professor at the Canadian University of Dubai, UAE was also conferred Outstanding World Researcher 2014 Award. He conducted a Philippine research study, “Emotional Intelligence of Managers in Manufacturing Firms.”
