Gov. Garcia lauds barangay health workers

Hundreds of Barangay Health Workers of Bataan were praised by Gov. Joet Garcia for their crucial role in implementing health programs in the province’s villages.

The governor’s kind words addressed to health workers were delivered during this year’s BHW Congress held last December 16 at the Kamalig Orion Sports Complex. It was spearheaded by health workers with full support of Bataan provincial government through Board Member Jorge Estanislao who is himself a practicing physician before joining politics.

“Lubos po nating pinupuri at pinasasalamatan ang lahat ng BHWs. Kayo po ay tunay na liwanag at sandigan ng kalusugan sa bawat barangay,” said Garcia.

Christmas gifts were given to BHWs courtesy of the Provincial Government and a raffle was held for them.
