Amid the relentless efforts of the Provincial Government of Bataan in its continuing fight against COVID-19, Dinalupihan Mayor Gila Garcia celebrated her birthday yesterday, February 17 with her constituents. She started the day distributing food vouchers to health workers and uniformed personnel in her municipality as a gesture of appreciation for their hard work and dedication.
Mayor Gila visited the 1Bataan Agriculture Innovation and Technology Center (AITC) pilot farms in Barangays San Simon, Daan Bago, and Pita where fruits of labor are almost in time for harvest.
The 1Bataan AITC is a joint venture project of the Provincial Government of Bataan through Public-Private Partnership with Agrilever Israel to introduce 21st century farming in the Province initially in 10 pilot farms in Dinalupihan as the town aspires to be the model agropolis in Central Luzon by 2022.
In the afternoon, the hardworking lady mayor attended the inauguration of the 1Bataan Malasakit Dialysis Assistance Center, a one-stop-shop health facility that will provide indigent dialysis patients access to free medicines and financial assistance.
Governor Abet Garcia, Vice Governor Cris Garcia, Dinalupihan Municipal Health Office staff and local government employees also attended the said event.
