Orani extends deadline for payment of business taxes

The Municipal Government of Orani is extending the deadline for payment of business taxes, fees and charges from January 20 to February 28 without charges or penalties.

The Sangguniang Bayan of Orani passed an ordinance for its move following reports that many business establishment owners are still reeling from the effect of pandemic. The said Ordinance was unanimously approved by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan in its recent regular session. Earlier, Orani Mayor Efren Pascual, Jr. expressed gratitude to the town’s thousands of tax payers for paying their taxes religiously. He lauded the business sector for its cooperation with the municipal government in improving the local economy.
