School kids urged to practice healthy lifestyle

Bataan Gov. Joet Garcia, this mornin, urged school children to practice this early healthy lifestyle to avoid health problems.

He asked them to shun smoking and drinking liquor.

The Governor, Abucay Mayor Robin Tagle, Bataan Vice Gov. Cris Garcia, Board Member Antonino Roman III, Congressman Jett Nisay, Health board consultant Dr. Bong Galicia and Provincial Health Officer Rossana Buccahan trooped to Mabatang Elementary School to launch the Healthy School Settings with the theme, “Healthy Paaralan para sa Malusog at Matatag na Kabataan.”

Gov. Joet, Vice Gov. Cris, Mayor Robin, BM Roman joined the school children and school officials in doing the “zumba” to the tune of rock music.

The healthy school settings program was launched by the provincial government to promote healthy family and reject tobacco and other forms of unhealthy practices.
