Excitement and sense of belongingness engulfed members of the Sanguniang Panlalawigan (provincial board) as they discussed plans to transfer to their new offices and comfortable session hall the Bunker building at the provincial capitol.
The Monday SP regular session presided by Bataan Vice Gov. Cris Garcia was held at the sixth floor of the Bunker. The office of the provincial governor has already transferred since last February to the building’s seventh floor.
As planned by the provincial government, the seventh floor down to fourth floor shall be occupied by the provincial government offices. Third floor will be allotted to different national government agencies such as the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Land Transportation Office, Department of Science and Technology, among others.
Second floor will be occupied by the One-Stop Shop, Pag-IBIG, National Bureau of Investigation, and other connected agencies. Commercial and government banks will occupy the ground floor.
The vice governor in yesterday’s session partly discussed with the board members the necessary preparations and assignment of offices for each of the board members.
